Thanksgiving Break - November 25 - 27

There will be no school for students or staff on November 25, 26, or 27 because of Thanksgiving Break.  Enjoy the time with family and friends!

Assessment Day - Monday, December 7

We will not have a regular day of school on Monday, December 7, as it is an assessment day for our students.  Your child's teacher will communicate with you about when your child should be at school on that day.

Winter Break Begins on Friday, December 18

Winter Break begins on Friday, December 18.  The 18th is a half-day of school for all students.  Students will be dismissed at 10:45 on the 18th.

Students Return To School on Tuesday, January 5

Students return to school on Tuesday, January 5, from Winter Break.   

Registration for all students is now at the ESC 

Registration for all students, including next year's kindergarten, is at the district Central Enrollment Center which is in the Educational Support Center (ESC) located at 1500 E. 128th Avenue, Thornton, CO.  Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily (excluding holidays), with extended hours to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  No appointments are necessary.  

Step 1:  Pick up an enrollment packet at one of our school locations or download the forms from our district web site.

Step 2:  Visit the Central Enrollment Center with your completed enrollment forms and all required documentation.  You may enroll all of your school-aged children at one time.  No appointment is necessary.

Step 3:  Once the family has completed the enrollment process at the Central Enrollment Center, parents and students are directed to their assigned school(s) to complete their registration and obtain class assignments, schedules, and other information unique to that school. 

Note - Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 15th.  First grade students must be six years old on or before September 30.  For exceptions please see Sperintendent Policy 5112.3

The following documents are required by Adams 12 to enroll your child:

1.  Parent/guardian photo I.D.

2. Documentation of child's date of birth - Either a birth certificate or a passport

3. Proof of residency

4. Immunization records

5. Previous school information - Including (a) name, address, phone and fax number of the previous school, (b) withdrawal form, (c) most recent report card, (d) transcripts for students entering middle or high school, (e) attendance record and discipline report, (f) IEP or 504 information if applicable

Centennial Still Has Seats For All-Day Kindergarten in 09-10

We still have seats in our all-day kindergarten class and it's not too late to sign up!

Centennial has one all-day kindergarten class for the 2009-2010 school year.  Tuition will be $285 per month charged nine months.  If you are interested in having your child attend our all-day class please call Maureen Nobles at 720-972-5282. 

THE BASE PROGRAM

Registration for the program for the summer and the 2009-2010 school year is currently underway.  Packets are available for pick-up and registration is done on a first come first serve basis.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call Michael Hart at 720-972-5286.

The CPTO has an email list that is used to provide parents with information about school events, activities, days off, etc.  If you would like to be added to this email list contact Shannon Miyasaki at shannonmiyasaki@comcast.net.  This email list has not and will not be shared with anyone else.  You will not receive emails from any other individuals or organizations by subscribing to this list.  This email list is for all members of the Centennial community.  You do not have to be a CPTO member to be on the list or to benefit from it.
