Multilingual Learners

• Based on the home language survey (that was filled out at registration), your child will be given a WIDA screener when they first start at Centennial to determine his or her English proficiency. Based on this information, your child will be assigned an ELD level and receive services from one of the ELD teachers if needed.

• Whether your child receives services or not, she or he will be required to take the ACCESS test between January and February 2026. It’s VERY important your child is at school during these dates
