Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten!

We are so excited to learn and grow together this year. Kindergarten is a year full of new experiences to help your child reach their full potential as a student. We are committed to ensuring that all students receive equitable access to a quality education. Our main focus is to empower students to gain knowledge and skills to be successful readers and writers. Additionally, we aim to enhance critical thinking and problem solving skills through math and science. We can’t wait to be a part of the social, emotional, and academic growth of your child’s education.

Reminder: Students should bring a snack and water bottle everyday. 

Sticker charts: Students can earn stickers for following directions, trying something new, being a kind friend, completing a task, setting an example for other students, etc.. When your child earns all 20 stickers and fills their sticker chart they will earn a prize from the teacher's prize box and bring the filled chart home. It typically takes students about a week to fill their sticker chart. We generally find students very motivated by this system if you would like to implement something similar at home!
