Special Education

Centennial Elementary's Special Education team is committed to meeting the needs of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Our team consists of learning specialists, an affective needs teacher, a school psychologist, a speech-language-pathologist, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, and paraprofessional staff. Depending on the individual needs of the student, we provide tier 3 support and instruction in academics, communication, social-emotional skills, and/or motor skills.

Our team’s goal is for our students to gain confidence in their skills and become independent learners. We focus on, and prioritize, building quality relationships with students and their families, emphasizing students' strengths, and providing quality tier 3 instruction and therapy. Our hope is to help prepare our students for future academic, vocational, and social success.

If you have any questions about Special Education services at Centennial, please feel free to reach out to us.
