Hello Raptor Families! I am Mrs. Gleason and I teach visual Art from Kinder to 5th grade. In Art we learn about Art and Artists' throughout history, techniques, how to use various  types of art media and the elements of Art.  My intent is to teach the students to be creative thinkers,  problem solvers and foster a love of the Arts. Giving each little Artist a chance to explore while learning new skills. Our Colorado and Adams 12 School District Elementary Art Curriculum is based on the following four standards:

  1. Observe and Learn to Comprehend
  2. Envision and Critique to Reflect
  3. Invent to Discover and Create
  4. Relate and Connect to Transfer
