Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a quiz show-style competition for students in grades 4 and 5. Students are quizzed about books that they have read from the designated Battle of the Books reading list. All 4th and 5th graders are encouraged to participate regardless of whether they would like to compete or just enjoy the opportunity to talk about these ten books.  All books are available in print and some are available as ebooks, as audio books and in print in Spanish. 

In April, students will compete in teams of 4-6 students against other Centennial teams to become the school champion.  The Centennial Championship team will then go on to the district battle at the end of April where they will compete against schools from all around the district.

When: Wednesdays - January 14th-April 22nd from 2:40pm-3:40pm
