2024 Bond Program, Investing in Student Success

Centennial Elementary Bond Projects

Centennial Elementary is set to receive a wide range of enhancements funded by the 2024 bond, with investments totaling between $2.8 million and $3.4 million.

Students and staff can expect refreshed learning spaces with new furnishings to create more flexible and inviting classrooms, libraries and offices. School infrastructure upgrades include modernized heating and cooling systems, updated electrical components and enhanced lighting. These upgrades will provide more comfortable learning environments and more resilient building systems.

Safety measures such as new fire alarms, upgraded classroom locks, intercom enhancements and door sensors will help keep the building secure. Outside the school, investments include updated irrigation systems, new playfields and a refreshed kindergarten/preschool playground, as well as repairs to parking areas.

Together, these updates will foster a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for the entire Centennial community.

Bond Investment Areas at Centennial Elementary

The 2024 bond is focused on improving and updating facilities across the district. All bond projects will benefit students, staff and the community by investing in our buildings and – by extension – investing in our community. These investments vary from paving and resurfacing projects to major interior and exterior overhauls to update school furnishings and finishes.

All schools are also receiving comprehensive IT upgrades through the 2024 bond. These upgrades will support faster network connections and support advanced classroom tools. IT projects will also boost school safety and security, with improved security cameras, exterior door sensors and updated safety systems.
