Centennial second graders receive new bikes
Partner's Group supplied brand new bikes and helmets for all 59 second graders at Centennial Elementary!
Centennial Elementary's second grade teachers had been working on kindness and belonging lessons with the students and this was a wonderful example of how to show gratitude for all their hard work. The new bikes was a surprise to the students and their families came to join in on the fun!
More than 20 volunteers were there. They fitted the students for helmets, and took them for a quick spin on their new bikes before they went home.
This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Social-Emotional Learning. Sharing stories about how the district provides innovative social-emotional programming and practices to students across all schools.
