I have been at Centennial since 2004. I was originally hired as a Reading Interventionist and a 3rd grade teacher. I switched to just 3rd grade in the 2006-07 school year. As a kid, I absolutely hated to read, so I try to spend a lot of time working with kids to find both books that they are interested in, as well as great books for them to enjoy!
I am originally from Arlington, Virginia and I completed my undergraduate degree in upstate New York. My husband and I decided to move west to Colorado in 2000, and have loved it ever since. I completed my Teaching Certificate and Master’s Degree at the University of Colorado at Denver in 2004. We have 2 sons, and we love sports and most outdoor activities. When not working, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family around Colorado, as well as nature photography.
